my internet has decided to **** itself. god ****ing damnit
Mine's the same -- the Network on the PS4 runs fine, so I can watch Chavo sell me some fine China at any point of the evening. But when I want to see a dude who defies gravity fight a bird in a plague mask, apparently it's too awful.

My one does this every month. Just get a full day of constant drop outs. Or if as it has for now, it becomes stable, the speed is super slow. (1.4kbps right now). I was worried about it happening as it was due, but it was running smoothly until Kushida's entry (which is one of my favs!).

I think it's all TPG's fault but I the NBN is coming in 6 months so I kinda don't wanna swap, even if Optus makes perfect sense.

Anyway I watched Ospreay-Scrull on my phone. It was great as always. Some of their other matches are on youtube. The Highstakes from Janjuary 2016 is a notable one.

Taguchi- Kanemaru was the match I was most curious about, but I might have to skip it and save my data for the main event. goddamn it.

Yeah, same boat re TPG and the NBN right now. It's been constantly slow for the past few months, not helped by all of my devices being ~20m, three brick walls and a roof from the modem. Watching 5 minutes behind seems to be working.

FMD that catching chickenwing was boss.

But why is Ospreay taking bumps from arm wringers on his head? FMD he's basically 50% rubber, 50% liquid, 100% in a retirement home by 30.

EDIT:
Spikey, explain this match pls (or the people in it).

Taguchi is the funky weapon. What else do you need to know?

Years back, Taguchi and Balor were a popular and well regarded tag team (Apollo 55) but then Balor obviously joined the Bullet Club and it seems Taguchi became less serious as a result, and now uses a mostly butt focused offence. He does become serious from time to time, notably last year's Super Jrs when he made the final and had a great match with Ospreay (although, who doesn't)

He's also, inexplicably, recently formed a stable called Taguchi Japan which basically features all the non alligned good guys (Tana, Ricochet, Juice) and is quite over.

Kanemaru is a vet that's part of Suzuki-gun I don't know much about him, which is why I wanted to watch him tonight, the opinion seems to be he's decent enough. The worry with him is that Suzuki-gun antics may ruin his matches.

here's the finish to a match they had against Omega and Ibushi from 2010: https://streamable.com/gmaau

they're in the same block! It's kinda happened in ROH but it's not the same.

Gedo booking strikes again! First fall Hiromu has taken since his comeback. Since is his dominance him sweeping this whole thing was a chance. Now the most likely route is that Hiromu doesn't drop another match, Ospreay drops another match somewhere and going into the last night Ospreay has to beat Hiromu to make the final. Also, it's then whether it's just Ospreay doing the chasing, or Ospreay and Liger, or Ospreay and Liger and Lee and so on on. Gedo booking strikes again!

oh and obviously this delivered. great crowd too. they even did a wooo chant when Liger locked in the figure four!

I was underwhelmed by Japanese John Morrison tbh.

Jushin, Ospreay, Scurll and Lee is a stacked block. Would want all of them in the final, personally.

Yeah, I have a vague childhood memory of a Nitro episode that involves Sting and mud. I've tracked it down to November 1999, which I really hope is peak awful.

Dr Death and Oklahoma. Jerry Flynn incapable of cutting a promo. Sid incapable of using a microphone. Mean Gene going to a strip club with Vito and Johnny the Bull. The WCW TV title thrown into the trash. A tag team called 'Creative Control'. Jeff Jarrett unironically using the term 'slapnuts' and killing Mike Tenay. And the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship getting buried via a faceless Russo, Juvi and a Tequila bottle to Jushin Liger's face.

And we haven't even got to two of the three No DQ championship matches.

What a ****ing mess.
