Raw had enough problems without Braun getting injured and there being some sort of 5 man match to find a new guy to job to Brock...
New Japan stuff
- NJPW have slightly redone their website: New Japan World. Basically the translations from Japanese to English are just done in a more subtle way
- The stacked card for the first night of best of the super juniors (tomorrow!) will be free for anyone to watch. Japanese commentary only. The new NJPW site has a count down clock, but basically it's on 7:30pm AEST/10:30am UK/9:30 Kiwi time I think, it'll be free to watch on replay too
- They uploaded the Will Ospreay - Ricochet match that hurt the heads of a lot of old wrestlers from last year's best of the super jrs. I forgot there wasn't any commentary on it.
- I did the Reddit pick 'ems' thing. In the end, I've got Ospreay beating Volador Jr., who is a really good luchador. I could also see Takahashi winning it and defeating everyone he faces except for Jushin Thunder Liger, setting up one last big match for Liger (he had a really good title match against Kushida just before last year's super jrs btw). I don't see Kushida winning the whole thing, maybe he wins group B and drops the final to Ospreay.
- Marty Scrull joined the Bullet Club at the ROH PPV, which was basically a culmination of a story told through the Young Bucks youtube channel. Adam Cole will join NXT soon. Cole's a lesser wrestler than Chris Hero, Roderick Strong, etc, but he's a really good character guy, so he'll do fine. (Meltzer talks about it here)

He'll legit be out for about 6 weeks apparently. No doubt the 6 month injury line is there to make him look like even more of a monster when he appears midway through the Summer.

Yeah, me too. That said I'm finding I cbf with WWE at the moment, especially RAW. Despite having a really exciting core of guys at the top of the show I'm just not engaged by it at all, especially now that Braun is on the shelf.
Also, Dean ****ing Ambrose. I like the guy, but they've got to change him somehow. His character at the moment is just the shits.

Yeah, I agree. Can be a very menacing heel. Would only need to go back to his character from the Shield really. Very difficult to get an unhinged/crazy character over as a face in a PG environment without just going into outright comedy territory I'd say.
