Probably because they are awful.

Not to mention the fact that without the Undertaker they are totally redundant.

Yeah, sounds as bad as the "Punjabi Prison Match" and that awful "Russian Chain Match"

I'll probably end up laughing as I watch it.
I didn't think the second Punjabi Prison match between Batista and Khali was that bad tbh. Had a badass spot where Batista jumped from one cage to the other.

I think it's awfulness is probably over-egged. There are far worse gimmick match types out there - in particular I am thinking of all those Russo object on a pole matches, or Buff Bagwell's mother on a forklift match or whatever. But I wouldn't be sad if we never saw it again - and I guess now that Khali is out of the picture we probably won't, unless they try and peg it on Jinder or some ****.

Also, speaking of Jinder, and I think duffer has mentioned this previously, but how the **** has he not been wellness'd yet?

Genuinely fascinated here, is a massive draw or something now?

Not as if he is that great of a worker and I am doubtful he is friends of anyone that important who could pull some strings for him.

Truly odd, is there any way he could be clean?

HHH won't let Shinsuke get turned into some ridiculous comedy character. WWE seem to recognise and utilise genuine talent these days, so I have faith they'll do Shinsuke justice on the main roster, just like they've done with Owens, Balor, and AJ.
Going to have to go back a while to be fair to find an indie darling who has been a bust and its been pretty much entirely the fault of the WWE for that scenario.

And I say that as someone who is far from a WWE fanboy.

I don't get why he was brought back at all. His first run was ok for a short while, and 3MB was funny I guess, but since they fired him the first time round I just don't get why he has been brought back. It's not even like he's someone like Drew Galloway/McIntyre, who actually went away and built up some drawing power.

What is equally perplexing is that they seem to be keen on giving him a slight push, but one that will obviously go nowhere. In any event, this apparent feud with Mojo Rawley is pretty dire, two guys I have no interest in seeing whatsoever.

The best explanation I can come up with is that he's just a big guy and Vince loves it, to hell with the fact that he's not remotely entertaining. Reminds me a bit of Chris Masters actually.

Not exactly an Indy guy, but whenever I think of things like this I immediately think of Nova/Simon Dean. Awful.

Aye true, but I suppose that was a good while ago at least.

Recent times the only name I can think of was Albert, they killed the poor chap with that horror gimmick when he returned.

Masters at least unlike Jinder with the masterlock had a decent mid card heel vibe going on even if obviously he was the shits in the ring. He was actually pretty decent when he returned a few years ago though.

I think Jinder is just filling in the minutes for the injured Rusev.

Though unlike Rusev, Jinder is going to lose this feud to Mojo.

Worst gimmick match is the inferno match IMO. I love Kane, but it's horrible.

The Master Lock challenge was great tbh.

And Spikey, whats so good about Chris Hero? His elbow move variations are pretty great but I can't get into the guy's wrestling much.

Do you think Strowman is clean? Nobody at the top level of the WWE is clean.. I think they hand out wellness bans only when people are on the drink or on drugs..

Who were your favourites as a kid age 0-10?

I grew up with crow Sting and loved him, DDP and Giant were right up there too. I also started to really love Jericho and since I never really liked Goldberg that much switched to him as my favourite when he started on that angle. Jericho moving to WWF made me switch to and that's right when I turned ten.

Other side notes - hated Eddie Guerrero (his hair), loved Vampiro and Ultimo Dragon for a brief burning time, thought nwo, Ric flair, Hogan all were dumb, Bret Hart sucked. Tbf to kid me, WCW Bret Hart did suck.

Edit: wanted to clarify with Eddie that I started to like him with his stupid China storyline in WWF. And then when he returned in the Los Guerreros incarnation he was my favourite. I was never as sports entertained as by Eddie Guerrero. Eddie Benoit and Jericho were mybguys at that time, in wrestling games I'd always make factions with them, either with a CAW character in that spot or Kane/Tajiri/Hurricane/Ultimo Dragon.
