Special word for Morne. Looks like pace has been taken from his bowling but arguably been more consistent and accurate in Dunedin and here so far.

For the record I don't have a problem with Patel over Santder here. As they both went head o head in the same 11. And Patel came out on top, tellingly though captain always went Patel first.&

Plus santner's batting handing the same downwards trajectory as all this teams' skills.

The spinner selection do sum up how hilarious the Larsen / Hesson combo is.

we have gone, Tests:

India 1: Santner, Sodhi, Craig.
India 2: Santner, Patel
India 3: Santner, Patel
Pak 1: Astle
Pak 2: Santner
Bang 1: Santner
Bang 2: Santner
SAF 1: Santner, Patel
SAF 2: Patel
Likely SAF 3 runours: Patel, Sodhi

You could also put a parellel ODI list of the same time period, as they jump Santner > Sodhi > Astel > Patel, and back again, with some loops.

I'm sure it's a Williamson selection given his refusal to bowl Santner last test.

Great opportunity for Broom and Nicholls in this innings.

As for Latham, give him a rest in the third test, I reckon ... it's Woodcock time!

I wish we'd won the toss. :(

Having said that, though, our bowlers may not have taken advantage of the conditions as well as SA's have.

It's surely not a conscious effort but Vern has hardly got seam movement, just swing.

Yet KG and Morkel have got more seam movement.

Odd.
