Hint - Howsie's dream NZ bowling attack would be

Southee
Boult
Kuggs
Ish
Santner

plus a bit of Corey Anderson and KW

Then keep Watling as keeper, and return Dean Brownlie and Daniel Flynn to the top order and find a place for Bharat Popli or Daryl Mitchell and you've got his perfect XI
He would be my choice regardless. Boult, Southee and Kuggs would make for an excellent attack, especially seeing as Kuggs is more than a handy enough batsman. Throw in Sodhi or Santner as the spinner and that's a good looking team
I was about to say, you might as well bring the whole ND Plunket Shield team along as well for moral support.

Looking good. Hopefully watch as much cricket as I can tonight. Off Friday, so will be able to go through the night Thurs-Fri.

I literally quoted his words where he admits pressuring her into ***. He is clearly a horrible ****.
Lots of awesome cricketers are horrible people and we still let them play the game.

Just because this guy is a knob doesn't mean he shouldn't get a fair crack at playing for NZ.

And let's remember, he was found innocent by the court.

...from my point of view, a girl says no once, that`s enough, whatever the circumstances. Does not mean he should have been convicted of rape, but that does not mean it should not effect his life either. But that is for the NZ cricket admin to decide.

Of course dude, I agree with you, re: when a girl says no.

But look at Ntini. He was convicted of rape, which was only overturned on appeal. Something fishy happened that day but the court decided it wasn't rape (which was only decided on appeal). Makhaya had a full career for SA. Should he have been punished even though he had been found innocent? Same thing applies to this Kiwi fellow.

And there've been plenty of other incidents regarding international cricketers which make one wonder about the calibre of their character. Geoff Boycott used to knock his missus around, Ian Botham cheated on his wife, Andre Nel was bust for drunk driving. Gibbs used to cheat on his missus too. Obviously none of these are as bad as rape (although hitting your partner is pretty freaking bad) but in this guy's case he has been found innocent and should be treated as such.

PS: Glad you changed your username to something easier to remember ;)

Had to get the username changed... getting a bit silly sometimes :)

Regards the discussion, I`m not saying that other people did not have a successful career after doing something ****ed up... I`m saying that if you do something stupid be aware that it may effect your career; it also may not but that a risk you take.

Yeah, i agree with your general point Marius. Was reacting to Howie's comments but no point derailing the thread.

Interesting pitch, I'm absolutely **** at reading pitches. Bit of grass on it?

If Faf was hoping for a bit more warmth after playing his last test in a freezer, he's going to be disappointed for a while longer. While it's a beauty here, it's also absolutely frigid.

CdG ahead of Henry. Would prefer it the other way around despite Henry's indifferent test form.

FMD, have NZ been cursed or something. It's been a good three years now of consistently losing the toss in test cricket.
