Oh, I fully agree. It's just funny that Haze Had One Job, didn't face a ball, and still got out.

If you're going to blame any one individual for failing to support Stoinis, it has to be Starc. To get out swinging when there's a bloke at the other end playing an ATG knock is atrocious. All he had to do was keep his wicket intact and Australia win.

Starc's dismissal was a disgrace but in hindsight Starc going out made the innings so much better because Stoinis would have taken singles with Starc there. But with Haze he literally did not let him face a ball, was going to be stuff of legend if he got them across the line. Bloody Haze, wahhhh.

Placing the onus on Starc (or Haze for that matter) seems strange to me. Perhaps the top six could have manufactured another half a dozen runs, we might be having a very different conversation. **** happens when you leave a modicum of responsibility to the tail. Oh and those extras..
