The Tele says a short three wicket spell should cement Nathan Lyon a spot for Sydney and India. Can not see it myself. Before this match the GOAT (or should it be the MUOAT (most under rated of all time) has played something like 7 tests for the earth shattering figures of 8-600. He does not deserve to be in Sydney let alone India on that return.

If the Sydney squad is an indication then Lyon and Sok are considered 1 and 2. If Lyon is dropped he has slipped to 2. Still goes to India as 2 though.

Haha yeah it's ridiculous, just think Warne doesn't rate him because he's a finger spinner plus the love for his Pakistani son. Recall he was on a full spiel yesterday shilling for Yasir, the top wicket takers for 2016 came up on screen and Shane couldn't sound less convinced when he said "And ahh, there's Ashwin at the top, arrrrrrrguably the best spin bowler in the world in some people's eyes"

I mean he couldn't make his disdain for finger spin more obvious at this point. On the same day he said "O"Keefe yeah, decent first class stats, but lets throw Mitch Swepson in there and see what happens"
