***Official*** Pakistan in Australia 2016/17

Odd period of play by Oz post-lunch. Having two part-timers in tandem so Pakistan could get easy runs and also helped Azhar reached ton with minimal pressure. Seemed distracted by expecting rain to arrive and/or problems with the ball.

That session showed downside of having no all-rounder, esp when your spinner isn't applying pressure or restricting runs. Only so much manoeuvring you can do with three paceman when the spinner is a weakness.

WTF actually happened there? Does Steve Smith get to choose when he has his lunch now or am I missing something?

Got taken off because the drizzle got persistent enough that it was affecting play too much. Either that or they were predicting a stronger shower and didn't want to lose much play.

They went off early because smith wanted to take the new ball but the new ball will be wasted because of the wet outfield. On the other hand he didn't want to leak runs with the old ball so convinced the umpires to call lunch early. What a piggy ****

Starting to get some of the stroppy vibes from Smith that Ponting had when things didn't go his way. Will do wonders for the teams image lol.

I'm at the ground and semi-regret coming here. Umpires incredibly pedantic pre-lunch and now even though rain has stopped still going to take another 10 minutes to inspect the pitch. So looking at the weather map prob by the time it will start again the rain will begin.

This plus Smith's self-absorbed moaning about the ball makes it feel like the crowd that have come feel like suckers.

He's always had that element in him. Thing is, if he let that get to him how is he going to handle the challenge of a Test series in India?

Same as the other away series where we do badly. Will look massively disappointed in the field at the ability of his team.

More rain. WTF.

At least in the Sydney Test last summer it was ****ing pouring 3 days straight. This is easily playable.

Beautifully worked by TPC. Get off the ground to stop the ball getting wet.

I'm intrigued at the number of soft, brain dead buffoons on here who want him to walk around with a smile on his face when he's unhappy with how his team is performing. It's not a garden party ffs.

If you think your captain should walk around with a smile on his face accepting mediocrity from his side, then **** off and support New Zealand
