Agreed. I think Pak are the only team right now who could compete with India in India. An India vs Pakistan series would be tasty right about now.
Ashwin vs Younis and Misbah would be so good to watch.

Except the pitch didn't go much at all. Apart from the bit of rough outside of the left handers there was nothing else in this pitch to trouble the batsmen. The fact that England lost on this pitch is something they really should be ashamed of, especially after being 100 for no loss at lunch. It's the nature of cricket in the subcontinent though. When pitches go, they go quickly.
Pretty sure there was a Test against the West Indies on the Tendulkar Farewell Series (might have been the one that was drawn with the scores tied) that was an absolute snoozefest for 4 days then all of a sudden 19 wickets went down on the last day. That sort of thing always plays on a batsman's mind. 100 overs in those circumstances is a long time to survive.
Jono is my bitch when it comes to avatar bets. He had this for 6 months.JFC, Where do you find these abominable pics from?
It's a shame the socks aren't visible on Furball's avatar. My God, they're hideousKing Kohli's decision to take the new ball - WAG
Speaking of King Kohli, Furball this is your new avatar for the next 6 months commencing tomorrow:
Limited overs series still to come lolThe sooner both series and thread are archived the better
Things are likely to look better for England once the ODI series begins, but yea the long break might be a bit of a hindrance. The sooner both series and thread are archived the better
You should be. Jennings is also class and one of the few English players to emerge from this tour with any credibility. Averaged 64.50 last season, topping the county runs with 1548 including seven centuries!! You saw how he reverse sweeps. Great player. Not convinced by Jennings but Hameed is class. Has the temperament for tests and will do well in the future in most conditions.
Can't believe I am defending England but they habe been awesome in ODIs recently.England will be slaughtered in the one-dayers, cowardly Morgan's team.
Sure. Maybe after he plays some more. Hameed will end up having the better career( but then again, I said the same about Manish Pandey and Saurabh Tiwary ).You should be. The Stokesys, Butlers and Bairstows will be rattled. Can't believe I am defending England but they habe been awesome in ODIs recently.
A few of our important ODI players are likely to be rested ahead of the long Australian tour so they have a good chance at hitting back tbh.The Stokesys, Butlers and Bairstows will be rattled.
For me it is true. I can only speak for myself but I've never been that interested in the endless bilateral one-dayers, but I think they are popular among some people? They tend to draw big crowds in England. I will be watching the Australia v Pakistan test match and picking-up the English/Indian limited overs matches as highlight shows (if that!).Hang on. I thought it was all about test cricket for England fans. ODI's are meaningless.
I have heard this for years
#itstheintentnottheresultthatmatters
Too late I already reaped all the likes for pointing this out.So England's 477 was the highest ever first inning score by a team that eventually lost the test by an innings.
