I'd be very surprised if many of the crowd even recognised his name, let alone actually knew his storyWonder what the crowds have in store for Amir

Can only agree with that accessment. Pakistan yet to win in Australia.. can see that tradition continuing. The Pak swing bowlers will be competitive, specially in the day/niter on Thursday. But the baggies have too much class across the board. So, the first test starts on Dec 15th with Pak getting whipped in NZ and with little practice before the tour. The practice schedule for Aus is probably similar and I expect a whitewash with bigger margins than in NZ to be the result. But I am still looking forward to see these two sides play each other.

Got your crystal ball handy. Renshaw could also smack him all over the park. He is a talented young batsman.Renshaw getting out for a golden duck by Amir is on the cards.
Asif is also bowling well apparently in the final of their FC tournament.Salman Butt keeps 'knocking very hard' on the selectors' doors | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo
Had totally forgotten about this ****.
I can tolerate Amir but this guy should never be selected again.
Oh, and I also like the fact that he's more religious now as if that means a ****ing thing
Judging by the way he batted against South Africa, no way. He'll be exposed as a batsman soon enough.Got your crystal ball handy. Renshaw could also smack him all over the park. He is a talented young batsman.
It is, well spot fixing anywayNo good if its people like you who think match fixing is a victim less crime.
The **** has still got it. Look at the seam movement he gets on some of these.Asif is also bowling well apparently in the final of their FC tournament.

Could see the trio reunited soon.

Imagine the potency of their attack if they get Amir and Asif at 2010 levels, Yasir Shah to spin teams out later in the game, and Riaz to be the enforcer (like Mitchell Johnson). Would immediately make them one of the best attacks in the world.Could've been an ATG if he wasn't , you know, a criminal.
I say bring him back. Pakistan already have a drug cheat and a convicted fixer in the team anyway.
When was the last time Sydney took serious turn?SCG dead rubber win on a bunsen the most likely scenario.
Imagine their potency if they were allowed to use Hand Grenades and Ajmal's action was made legal.Imagine the potency of their attack if they get Amir and Asif at 2010 levels, Yasir Shah to spin teams out later in the game, and Riaz to be the enforcer (like Mitchell Johnson). Apparently it's turned quite a lot at Shield level this year. When was the last time Sydney took serious turn?
Adelaide days 4 and 5 has been the best pitch to bowl spin on when I've been watching the game.
First game this year was a bunsenApparently it's turned quite a lot at Shield level this year.
It was supposed to turn in the Test last summer but it rained out.
