Not at all, I'm agreeing with others here who view him as a viable option, whilst reminding those who say he shouldn't even be considered that 1) their credibility hasn't exactly been great on other matters & 2) it's not like we have anything to lose at all.

Not at all, I'm agreeing with others here who view him as a viable option, whilst reminding those who say he shouldn't even be considered that 1) their credibility hasn't exactly been great on other matters & 2) it's not like we have anything to lose at all.

Munro on merit deserves another shot definitely, given who else we've seen. But he's not technically perfect - though then who is knocking about at 5 & 6 in NZ domestic these days?

He should be making squads at least, going on tours etc.

I personally felt it was out, there was a slight change in the seam rotation once it passed the bat, there was a blemish on snicko and we've seen previously that hotspot isn't actually that good.

Even though that would never happen in reality, even if we could wave the magic wand, Ryder is not the 2009 version anymore & has been decidedly average with the bat in English county cricket the last couple of seasons... in fact was actually more valuable for his county with the ball.

Even if you could believe he'd never have another issue outside the game, his batting has fallen off a cliff and he's not currently bowling, on form alone you can't pick him.
