Movember.what is up with colins mustache
tbf at least he based his calls on real eventsIf you're meaning Klippax, I really don't remember the last time he got anything right in terms of "this domestic guy will be great at test, but this guy won't be"
If NZ's tail wags it'll be the first time in a looong time.
NZ tail gonna wag, you heard it here firstExclusively ghambiring and nothing else from you these days?
Yup abysmal record of predictions in that respect & thankfully isn't a NZ selector in any sort of reality. Posts some cool videos though, shouldn't forget that.If you're meaning Klippax, I really don't remember the last time he got anything right in terms of "this domestic guy will be great at test, but this guy won't be"
Nah, the same world authorities who informed us Guptill was a better opening option than Raval also informed us Nicholls was the real deal, and Munro was just a hack who's record shouldn't be taken seriously since he's from Auckland.
Mysteriously enough, the main authority seems to have gone into hiding since Raval's introduction. Go figure.
Of course Munro should be a seriously consideration at 5, considering the other alternatives are Nicholls and Ronchi. Clearly the closest like for like replacement for Bmac at 5, and let's not pretend we have anything to lose.
And that's all just from Howsie.Yeah, but looking at most these guys, some of the calls I think I've seen include
Guptill will be a great test player
Sodhi will develop into a top spinner
Boult and Southee are the best opening ball pair in world cricket
Wagner is rubbish and won't amount to anything.
Nicholls is a good test batsman
Taylor is a world class player and great captain
Baz will be a terrible captain.
Henry will be a better bowler than Wagner,
Raval won't be any good at test cricket
Latham won't be any good at test cricket.
etc etc etc.
Yup, you better believe it.
Yeah I can't think of a single person who was excited by Nicholls (originally mainly known for his shovelling, as promoted by PEWS). I said he's shown good temperament at times e.g. debut vs Oz and the innings vs SA. However his technique is unusual - seems to just put the bat there rather than hitting the ball, and doesn't follow it with his head.Nah, Nicholls has no fans on this forum except me and that's because I feel sorry for him. Half the posters wanted him to fail from the get go so it's 50 or bust for him.
Witness the calls for his dropping immediately after he scored that 70 odd in SA.
Tbf, there was daylight between bat and ball then wasn't there? Although I was watching that all the way from my kitchen. So Gould gives something out that wasn't out, but gives something that probably was out not out. Huh?
