I do have to say that Wade has improved his keeping. I'm not saying he is as safe as an electric wickety but he should be serviceable.

There is a perception that he is a backs to the wall type of batsman who can get as out of a tough situation, but I can't specifically recall any of his fighting Test knocks. I know his maiden century was good, but he bat at a good clip, so not exactly fighting.

If the reason for Maddinson over other batsman was due to his bowling that would be crazy. In this current match he bowled 2 of the 183 overs bowled by NSW or under 1 over per day.

I'm hearing more & more that Wade is in the Test squad. This is nothing short of a disgrace. Selection based on absolutely nothing. Pathetic

I take it Maddinson's bowling gets him over the line in that case. Because if it is, they have the wrong New South Welshman.
