That's the past.Management has changed. He's not cutting it in the Premiership.
Managers are blamed too much when they lose, given too much credit when they win. Sure they play a part, but it's the players who do the job. Still, a manager needs to be able to control his team and suchlike. And to be fair to Souness, Bellamy had to go IMO, and I hate him anyway, so I'm pleased for that.

Erm, Manure did - and now the fans are crying about the fact they may be taken over - can't have it both ways.
Who made United big? Can't remember it, not sure though, and I could most certainly be wrong. And I for one am most certainly against a take over. Can't speak for Rose though.

The whole public funding from becoming a plc made a huge difference - and by being a plc they are open to being taken over.

Fecking Gooners are 2-1 up... not that I have the TV controls, whenever I want to watch footie I can't whenever I don't I have to.

I cannot quite believe how bad Arsenal were for the last half-hour. Even when Silvestre was sent off, they had no shape, purpose, structure - they never looked like getting back on terms.

Almunia was truly horrific - the third goal was a joke, and he was out of place for the fourth to boot. O'Shea's face was priceless.

Whatever, neither side can defend well enough to put up a serious challenge to Chelsea, IMO.

No side has had a chance of challenging Chelski for at least the last month.
Nonetheless... battles within battles are always worth watching, and the double over the Gooners is especially sweet after last season.

Aah I can't wait (tho as per usual I'll have to beyond the 10 seconds in the news) to see the highlights of the French cheating/diving mercenaries losing again.

Man Utd once again stop an Arsenal streak.First it was the unbeaten, now it's the home record. Both sides will have to beat Chelsea though for United to catch them. That still wouldn't be enough though but the ball's round...

Right, Arsenal are now completely out of it IMO. United have a slim chance. I'm now supporting Arsenal aganist Chelsea, and a Blackburn win tonight would be nice.

Graham Poll = excellent - showed why he's England's number one ref.
All well and good, but for Pete's sake, why does he completely lose it whenever he's refereeing a qualifying match with Norway in it?

Agreed he had a very good match, was particularly pleased that he didn't brandish the yellow card for every slight push, because then there may have been very few players left! I rate Paul Durkin as high if not higher than Poll though.

Knowing how Arsenal love rolling around on the floor and harassing the referee before someone like Bergkamp has a sly elbow etc. at someone I was slightly annoyed at how as usual Arsenal only got 2 yellow cards and Man Utd got 4 yellow cards and a red card - did Arsenal really deserve only 2 yellow cards (notes how no-one ever gets booked for diving/'simulation' thus saving half of the Arsenal team being sent off each game)?

It was embarrassing the amount of diving last night. Cole in the penalty area in the 1st 5min, rooney and vieira when rooney pulled his foot away at the last minute and pires is the worst at it in the whole premiership IMO. They should hand out bans after the game to anyone who does it regardless if they get the freekick for it. What confuses me at the moment is i thought the ref was supposed to book the diver. Plenty of fouls weren't given last night when people dived yet with no caution as well, which annoyed me.
