*Official* English Football Season 2016-17

For the clubs he's managed and the success he's had in the competition Guardiola's away record is absolutely appalling.

edit: bet Arsenal win the group and draw Bayern.

I see Tony Pullis is shortening like hell (2nd fav now) to be the next manager to leave in the sack market despite doing little wrong on the pitch to merit a sacking, I wonder why:ph34r::detective

It's amazing that Walcott's played 350+ games for Arsenal and been there over 10 years. He's looking good so far this season though.

Surely Pardew is going to see his odds shorten too? Strikes me as the type
Agree on both. Funnily I had a conversation with 2 mates and one said Pardew will be caught up in this and other said he wanted him as next England boss. I know which side my money would be on.

As for Pulis he strikes me as like Harry Redknapp, wheeler dealer and it would be a shock not to see him linked.

I can think of a certain Italian manager who may be exposed as well as someone who rather randomly quit his club in the summer after winning promotion and someone who was asked to stay away from his club's game earlier this week...

He was always likely to do that so it calls the judgement of who hired him into question.
Haha, this isn't really a defence to anything. "That's just the way he is" is not a justification for someone being a complete ****.

You've gone from saying he's done nothing wrong, to saying that it's not his fault for being dire, it's the people who hired him who should be blamed. Strange progression of argument tstl.

Don't get me wrong, the judgment of the people who hired him in the first place is extremely dubious to say the very least. But that has nothing to do with whether or not Allardyce himself was in the wrong on this one (clue: he totally and utterly was).

I'm not defending him, I'm saying the FA can hardly be surprised he's acted the **** because it was obvious he's a ****.

Have to say it's almost admirable how BFS and the FA have managed to lower the national team's standing after Euro 2016. Took no little amount of incompetence and avarice (surely our defining footballing characteristics), but goshdarnit they've gone out and done it.

Makes one proud to be English.
