Yep I liked the first spell of Wagner. It's an interesting way of using the new ball in India. At least he has put the batsmen in two minds sometimes.

It is, but there's been a few going close to shaving the glove as yeah it appears to be working.

Fair decision that, but if he keeps hitting him on the pad it will put pressure on Tucker to maybe give one legside-ish. Impressive stuff from Santner.

Yeah I wanna be a fan of Craig - I think his action is nice personally; bounce up to the crease, spin the ball up, get decent revs. It's hard though when his accuracy has been so ****ing appalling in recent test matches.

he's bowling a lot better already than he has in his previous test matches imo.

EDIT: those last two balls!

Without wanting to state the obvious, Craig is like Sodhi in that he only really needs to eliminate those freebies.

Two rippers there, If I didn't know better I'd think they were wrong-uns, but likely just going on with the arm.

Pitch looks dead, as expected. Santner giving to many 4 balls away. And the only way the India batsmen look like they may miss the ball, is if they were blindfold.

All I feel right now is sympathy for NZ...

Santner and Craig have caused a few problems when not bowling filth tbh. Even Sodhi's first over was impressive.
