I can't say I'm happy with the XI. Nicholls deserved to stay in after being our best bat in the last game. And I'm worried about the lack of a third seamer, especially with how exhausted Boult's looking already.

Boult to Rahul, FOUR, sweetly driven through cover point. Opened the face to get the gap, waited that little bit for the timing. A reasonably good ball punished with class

Boult to Rahul, FOUR, not totally convincing but he will take four. It was full outside off and again the front foot didn't come fully forward, but the bat face opened on the cover drive and since cover is vacant, the ball sped away to the fence. Slightly too full there was Boult and Rahul eyed the opportunity for some runs

lol...I disagreed that 80% of the posts were about the toss, merely pointing out there was some natural disappointment when NZ were all ready up against it. Some who said "Test's over, let's all go home" was taking it too far I agree...

Then I made the point that bookies offering $17 for a team to win isn't far off a 2% chance... teams with a 15% chance usually pay about $6.

But well done in not answering what $17 would usually translate to in terms of a percentage chance.
