It's our usual one baffling selection decision per test. Nothing too major.

Pitch looks great to bat on for now with very little help for spinners but a limited number of balls have been slightly decent, not particularly troubling though. Think we have to wait till day 3 for things to really work in the bowlers' favor.

I`m not saying NZ have bowled terribly but unless the batsmen does something really stupid I can`t see a wicket coming. Occasional good delivery that makes the batsmen have to adjust a bit is to be expected, this is still test cricket. Does not make batting difficult...

I can honestly see wickets falling without the batsmen doing something really stupid. i.e. the wicket that fell. He was hovering on the crease a little if we're being tough, but it was a good ball.

He misjudged the length.. good ball, little bit of spin but nothing special. Another 20+ of those balls have been easily managed. I`m not saying batsmen can not make a mistake. Will ten batsmen make such mistakes and India put under 500 on the board, I doubt it, this pitch is flat and offering little to nothing for the bowlers atm. The ball may roughen up and and give a bit more grip or start reverse swinging such that the batsmen can be put under a bit more pressure, then I will revise my opinion. The best thing for this game would have been for NZ to be batting first....

It does actually work... girlfriend hurt her back quite badly (iliopsoas muscle) while picking up heavy boxes. The back strapping from the tape gave her a great deal of extra support and relief from the pain while recovering.
