Yes I'm finding it quite amusing that 3 of Yorkshire's 4 specialist batsmen made zilch.

It would be mildly amusing if Hodd played a big innings considering all the fuss about Bairstow.

From here, if my maths is correct, a Somerset win with full bowling points gives them 226 in total (203 + 4 batting + 3 bowling + 16 for the win). Middlesex have 213 + 2 + (presumably) 3, which before the result leaves them on 218. So a draw ties things up on points, giving Somerset the title on six wins to five.

If Yorkshire win with a first innings total below 350 (203 + 3 + 3 + 16 = 225), Somerset wins outright. Above 350 but less than 400 would go to countback (203 + 4 + 3 + 16 = 226; both sides on six wins, Somerset with a 10 wicket victory last week). Above 400 and Yorkshire get the title outright (203 + 5 + 3 + 16 = 227).

If Middlesex win, they win. But their poor first innings leaves them vulnerable to the draw.

I'm hoping for a downpour in Central London that never makes it out west, tbh.
