Bloody Strauss making Yorkshire drop these catches. ****ing conspiracy.

Be interesting to see if Somerset have overcooked the wicket this week. Wickets there this season if anything seem to have got flatter as the game went on. The big turners have started big turners and stayed the same or got slightly easier, they haven't really deteriorated. Doesn't look to be turning much from the bits i've seen. They probably need the bonus points so they're probably right to make it a bit flatter and Notts batting is liable to collapse with nothing to play for.

Hampshire have got a real chance now. Old Vince scoring his runs quickly to setup the game.

Being put in and getting to 250+ wouldn't be the worst effort in the world given our putrid line up. Anything less is big time Lanky's game though.

Must be a road if Vince and Will Smith are scoring like that. Durham have not been batting well though.

Can you imagine how much fun it would be if Jack Leach bowls Somerset to the title. The look on Strauss' face would be priceless...

If Yorkshire continue chipping away and being in control they're still going to need to match Somerset's bonus points or they'll fall behind.

I really doubt that Strauss actually cares much who wins the championship. Never gave off the impression of someone who really cared much for county cricket. Didn't go back and play county cricket once he finished with England and was fairly derogatory about county cricket in his autobiographies. I would have thought that he'd b quite happy if leach takes a load more wickets given he was on the committee that introduced the toss rule in a bid 2 get spinners into the game.

It's not just about County Cricket, Strauss has some responsibility in the squad that was selected to go to Bangladesh. The one had ignored all the best young performing spinners and picked Moeen Ali, Rashid, Ansari and Gareth Batty.

Joe Clarke with a fifth championship hundred of the summer. Has done pretty well but has a technical thing where defends with a crooked bat sometimes early in his innings which has caused him a lot of problems. Seen him bowled and knick off outside the offstump like that a load. Get that sorted out and he'll really start churning out the runs
