an idea: a draft of non-cricketers

I'm guessing it's a timed out round 6 now. It doesn't really matter it seems.

6 - Moses : Associates no other cricket with the true Cricket. Never says Cricket in vain and remembers the last session and keeps it holy. Doesn't murder the ball. Doesn't bear false witness and walks when he's out. Bowls similar to Khan because parting stumps is easier than parting the red sea.

I have some powerful bowlers, batsmen and all rounders, so I need someone who can supplement the team's strengths. My next pick is Yasir Shah's wife to be the team's specialist medical consultant. I'll hide her in the batting lineup somewhere in the lower order and she won't need to bowl or field. If we look at this game as an RPG, she's basically the support class who buffs up all her teammates. Hanuman is OP enough already but with her medication, it's a whole new level. Clapton and Nadal would obviously love her as a part of the team, as would Burgey whose rants would touch unprecedented heights.

ok sorry as i said in the asian draft thread it's my yearly exams... two picks for me to get to round six

i think i need a defensive middle order batsman to take the heat off my flairy guys like shaq so i'll take "The Wall", Donald Trump, who also has it in him to flick to absurd offensive tactics like questioning your captain's citizenship if he has to - must know a thing or two about cricket considering the guy has damien marten followed on twitter

next up i will take a bowler who never lets the pressure get to him... The Dude can keep it calm in all circumstances (providing we aren't too stringent on drug testing, pfffff), and ties the team together - bowling style a hard counter to all you brian mcmillain fans

Think Garner was referred to as Big Bird due to the similarity in their bowling actions.

I think an Aussie would be useful - would like to pick Dennis Lillee, but he's ineligible of course, so I'd best go for his doppelganger

Knowing dogs, probably out handling the ball (with ample slobber) first ball. Awesome fielder though. Not many boundaries will be scored in his quarter.

I'm just having memories of playing at 11 with my dog covering the off side. As a bowler, you'd want to retch when you touched that slimy ball, post mouthing.

There's something about a dog film that makes it a feel good - sure winner. I guess, it probably works for cricket teams too. Good pick.
