I hate anyone who does it including half the people I've played club cricket with. Im not patriotic in the slightest if you were implying that
nah he's just pathologically anti-Australian, presumably a result of growing up with his national side being embarrassed in Ashes cricket for the best part of 2 decades

Probably about 10 occasions today when Bailey would have edged behind had he been good enough to hit the ball
good to know that he has been lucky...When I saw him badly struggling against Adil and Moeen on a dry pitch in England with laughable footwork, I started believing that he'd be clueless against decent spinners on crumbling pitches

Be interesting to see what would happen in Tests, as he seems more worried about protecting the one that goes straight on, and if it rips he's happy to look silly but be not out.

That's the way to go against spinners, also never cut against spinners in subcontinent.

It's not quite that simple, but there's definitely some truth to it. Especially with the way the Aussies played in the tests (just assuming everything will turn a mile).

More the fact that in Australia we are used to giving up our stumps to cut, and don't compute that doing it against the spin (a la Burns) or that the bounce can't be relied upon as much (a la Herath a bunch of times).

Was pretty much certain that Starc would be given a well deserved break for the final ODI, but the management decides to add to his workload... great move.

I suppose it's because he's not going to South Africa, they can afford to play him as much as possible.
