Tough for a Warner/Sehwag type player to change at the drop of a hat though, so much success playing their natural games to suddenly change when conditions are more foreign for them. Never forget what a fish out of water Sehwag looked on those green tracks in NZ in 2002.
All the batsmen looked like that, with the exception of Dravid, Richardson, and Tendulkar. This is something else.

Yeah, wasn't supposed to be an exact comparison between Sehwag in '02 and Warner here, just a more general one about naturally aggressive Test batsmen. Besides, I haven't actually seen anything but Warner's scores tbf.

Just an aside though, think you're being generous on Sachin including him as one of the exceptions on that tour, didn't he average 23 or something?

how far is Chandimal off the big four-Root,Kane,Kohli,TPC ?

I think him and especially Rahane are not that far behind.

Speaking of behinds, he can join them once he stops juicing up that huge hot ass of his.

well played, great to see how happy he was.

"he came to the party right when Sri Lanka needed him" is a bit much though, the series has already been won lol

Jeepers 225 with 4 pegs in hand. How's the deck holding up? Aust a chance of chasing 250-260?

I remained baffled at the Aussie (non-)use of the allrounders, especially with Silva at the crease.
I was just going to query this, using Lyon for 30 overs and Holland for 18 when Hazlewood and MMarsh have bowled 13 economical overs doesn't strike me as being terribly imaginative captaincy.

Granted I've not seen a ball of the Test so don't really know what's happening. Just seems odd.
