Complete and utter trundler these days sadly, and to be fair on Misbah he was given plenty of opportunities. He allegedly was threatening to play for England also which would have gone down well with selectors


They would have been better off picking Hamza or someone from domestic cricket rather than Junaid.


I'd like to see Pakistan for the West Indies series have a think about a somewhat more acceptable part timer than Ahmed, maybe Wasim, some of the young kids the internet are loving are somewhat spuds with the bat which is what Pakistan do not need.

Sohail was turning into a decent little bowler before he got injured, when you consider his monster first class numbers, he would have solved a lot of issues.

Nah you sorted it incorrectly. Yasir has the record at the moment. Followed by Subhash Gupte and Mark Craig. In fact the top 5 are all spinners, which makes sense, since in theory spinners rely on pitch conditions a bit more than quick bowlers do.

the most annoying bit for me in this series has been our slip catching in 2010 we struggled but that was because we had a very poor slip cordon. With Younis, Misbah, Azhar all safe fielders I thought we will not drop many but we have been even worse then 2010. Youinis and Azhar have been below par and for some reason Misbah is not standing in slips but the drop catch count should be close to 10 now.

Same thing they do against Ashwin, playing him off the pitch as it coming off the pitch so slowly they have time to adjust. Not saying it will work this winter against Ashwin but his record against us is pretty dreadful so far.

this series has been frustrating.

I had predicted 3-1 before the start of the series and its seems to be heading that way however Pakistan had opportunities through the series and have been careless it was possible to get out a 2-2 here but Pakistan has not been able to sustain their discipline.

Now you know how we felt in the last couple of UAE series, played well at times but so many missed opportunities.
