was surpised to find Dimuth Kauratune has scored 3 test tons

what is with SC players starting off insanely good and fading away before they've even played 20 tests

I think we can declare Kurunaratne Starc's bunny now. Four in four.
It really was a daft shot, rather than a brilliant Starc delivery. But maybe that's what being someones bunny is about: Karunaratne might not have played such a waffy push, a foot outside the off stump, if it wasn't in his head that Starc is bowling.

are you saying it's more suited to offies than leggies? Or what

Genuinely curious
Kinda. Voges is a bit more solid of a spinner than Smith is and while Smith is possibly a better part-timer.....Voges I think could do an Elgar on this wicket.

It's more suited to accurate but typically innocuous spinners than inaccurate but occasionally dangerous ones because the pitch will make the former more dangerous anyway, but it won't make the latter more accurate.

Case in point, Sir Jadeja and his bowling average of 23.

nice way of explaining it

So Smith more likely to bowl an insanely good delivery out of nowhere and dismiss a Root or Williamson(of which the calibre SL don't have), but also more likely to leak 50 runs off 8 overs

got it
