Knocked off Rublev in Q, wasn't he supposed to be a thing once? (Still only 18 I guess)Willis is so bloody polite. He seems to be apologising just for winning points
sure we have a decent bunch of good to very good players, but we also have been spoilt by the exploits of the current top players and would need to reset expectations once djokovic and murray also start to fade...another bunch of similar other-worldly talents is highly improbable anyway...Yeah I get that, but I guess my points is I am not sure we thought Fed or Muzz were going to be as good as they were when they were 19? I know Fed was seen to be very talented, but be ATG? Dunno. Nadal and Novak yeah we knew they'd be awesome.
And even if Zverev and co don't hit those heights, not sure that means we don't have the next generation of "champions". I think we shouldn't take this current generation for granted, and anyone not as good as the big 3-4 aren't excellent.
She's been around a while. She looks impressive but is very inconsistent. Will keep an eye on Giorgi. Impressive stuff against Muguruza.
sure...sure...Will keep an eye on Giorgi. Impressive stuff against Muguruza.
Anderson literally got closest out of anyone to beating Djokovic in the Nole Slam tbf.both are fairly **** nowadays for different reasons.
wasn't this pre-injury?Anderson literally got closest out of anyone to beating Djokovic in the Nole Slam tbf.
Both were down match points in the 5th and won. Paire was down 0-40 too!Benoit Paire at 7-7 and Gilles Müller at 11-11 in the fifth.
Why am I not surprised those two are involved in matches that go way longer than they have any rights to.
Yep..your typical English Summer..raining cats and dogs here in the North.. Hopefully get some play in today.Weather forecast today: Drizzle all day. The sort of weather where clay stays reasonably safe and true, but useless for grass.
