nah, quietly doing that dance up here since he went all out in that Cheshire league game. Be good to see whether he can pick it up a bit in short forms, because he's got the potential to be a good mid order prospect.

Leicester with a great, great win.

Is it to early to start a Liam Livingstone bandwagon?
Bandwagons are just pointless when attached too English leg-spinners,the list of shite is endless. I gave up years ago, have enough things to be disappointed in life with, without just bringing it on myself.

Oh and even if they get half-decent the hype is just SOOOO annoying. Schofield, Salisbury, Rashid. I mean we have to ask ourselves why really. It's not like leg-spinners are pulling up trees for other teams, or even have much recently. Warne was a freak, Kumble was pretty unorthodox, and then?

You have to go back to Qadir, and quite frankly as much as I loved him at the time, looking back at vids he would get slautered nowadays (obviously with the proviso that he may well have changed style for current days, but hence probably less good to watch), about 2 bad balls an over.

It's really hard to be an accurate leg-spinner, and with the big bats and modern attacking batting methods, I reckon it's harder and harder in first-class.

oddly enough though, because t20 people look to hit every ball anyway, having a box of tricks to confuse the bats works in that form, all the better at times if you actually get it wrong.

Wouldn't get excited about Livingstone as a spinner, he's pretty much 5th choice spinner for us now, its his batting, especially the potential in one day stuff, thats of interest

Hmm can't find County Cricket Live on Cricinfo. The cynic in me could make a comment about how they've not bothered since it's virtually all northern counties in action which obviously don't matter...

Concerned that Warks batsmen appear unfamiliar with the script - Parky gets a 7fer and Lanky win - sort yourselves out lads

BritExit wil end some county careers, like no Brednon Taylor for instance, hes' been their 18 months and that doesn't make him English,so out the door he goes.

The likelihood is if we go all out away from the EU, its going to lead to strengthening trade ties with former Commonwealth nations, and inevitable labour agreements that come with those negotiations. Chances are from a cricket POV there will be rules that come in that offer similar benefits to the Kolpak one.

A big one too - he played beautifully today although to the best of my recollection he only went onto the back foot once - he ducked everything that was short, then went for a hook and struck it superbly for that six, then went back to ducking under the short stuff - most odd because he most certainly can hook
