Vardy, Kane, Sturridge, Rooney and Sterling is 5 forwards. If Welbeck is fit you take him as well if he's not don't bother with anyone else IMO.

You listen to Talkshite?
i don't have a connection for my phone in the car. So it's CDs or radio, I don't like music radio (would rather listen to my own stuff because that's how I roll) so about half the time I land on talksport. Tbh I don't think it's always as bad as is made out but there is no doubt you get some 'interesting' opinions. And as a friend of Sledger you can't help but just appreciate Adrian Durham as a master of his art

Agree with Furball btw. Tbh I'd be in favour of Defoe in his current guise in a lot of years gone by but if we assume Rooney is going, he doesn't get ahead of Vardy, Kane or Sturridge all else being equal.

Depends on the system, don't think Sterling really counts as a forward in Roy's thinking

Haha, I think too many people have caught on to Durham's act now for him to even be annoying tbh. He's just the Piers Morgan of sports journalism.

Think he's toned it down these days on the radio on that basis. His position these days is more 'take a stance and defend it to death' rather than 'wind the **** up out of everyone'. In print he's still the same mind you.

Goughy is still awful on anything other than domestic cricket mind you

I reckon he's well worth a punt at that value tbh. Injuries are obviously a concern, but other than that he's an ideal fit for them and should be approaching his absolute best years.

Maybe, but could be a Van Persie/Man Utd type situation. An extra year of having him/rival club not having him and eliminating the risk of him being poached by someone else is arguably worth paying extra for.

He wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Munich being his and his entire family's hometown is a big incentive for him going there. I'm not trying to say it's too much Bayern are paying though, they have cash to burn and it probably kills any chance of a title race which was lingering as a possibility next year. I think it's a good fee for Dortmund though, all things considered, they've effectively replaced similar calibre players with less.

It's dire, terrible for the integrity of the league. Good for the Premiership though because the Bundesliga is effectively dropping out of the race for emerging market share.

Bundesliga title race was quite close and exciting this year. I don't expect Dortmund to go away quietly, they're quality. Moreover, Ancelotti's league record is questionable.

Also, La Liga is still very much alive going into the last round.

Best punishment for West Ham after the trouble is first game next season is played behind closed doors. That will teach them
