lol lol lol. Would be cranky if I paid money to go to that game. Players clearly tired and didn't care. Well done from Rafa.

Everton still a wide open team then, should be an interesting semi final.

Rooney now less of a striker than Rashford at club level...

Rashford is a season highlight for us. Rooney hasn't been a striker in 2 years. I hope the rumors of going to China are true.

Was a penalty for me.

The 'pundits' pretty much automatically disagree with the referee. If he'd have said no penalty they'd have said it 'was a good shout'

Everton need to make this count.

Err commentators I think you'll find there's a thing called a professional foul, which that clearly was, but for some reason no longer seems to carry a red card. Hence why tiki taka bullshit teams do it all the time when they lose the ball and get caught 2 v 2/3 v 3 etc.

Not sure how good of a result that is for United really, obviously when you have won **** all in the last few years you can't be sneering at any cup win, but on the negative side, it might ensure another year of garbage from LVG.

Also Lukaku did his chances of getting a move to a bigger side no favors whatsoever today, very wasteful.

I'd prefer it if referees just grew a set and sent players off for that sort of foul.
Me too because Barcelona would be completely ****ed overnight, but then it'll go the other way and you'll get people sticking an arm out in reflex in a nothing position and getting sent off. That situation Manure had numbers back, think it was 3 v 5.

I think 10 mins in the bin would be good for those sorts of fouls. Not sure stuffing a team for the whole game is warranted. Won't happen though.

Colchester :( Can definitely see double relegation being a possibility, sadly.

So, one round of games left in the Conference. Last play off place between part timers Braintree and Gimpy's Tranmere. Altrincham who won 5-0 today, need to beat Braintree for Tranmere to have a chance.

Since when is it only possession sides that deliberately foul? Tottenham have committed the 3rd most fouls in the league this season and haven't got a red card, they're absolute kings at preventing you from getting a good attack by deliberately fouling. Atletico as well.

Btw did anyone see Simeone (might have been someone else on the Atletico bench, not sure) hurl a football from the sidelines at a Malaga player who was dribbling during a counter attack today?

Yeah, I was only half watching at the time, sort of thought that is what had happened but the commentators did not seem to say anything at the time.
