Bizarre interview with Mart before the match. Asked if Everton were underachieving under him he said no because they haven't been winning the League for 30 years and still aren't. He's always rambled but he's becoming incoherent.

Quite glad Martinez is being shown up as not being much chop tbh. No doubt the clamouring for him to replace Wenger in a Moyes-esque appointment would be gaining momentum by now otherwise.

Arsenal Fan TV is terrible. Really hate it. Mainly because it they seem to specialise in finding the most objectionable and incoherent people imaginable to interview. Like the person you mention, by the sounds of things.
tbf this is usually the case with any collection of interviews of random people on the street or w/e

Interestingly, other than already highly established top managers such as Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti etc, can you think of many managers who were touted as potential Wenger replacements who managed to improve their reputation afterwards? I can only think of some of the comedy suggestions like Moyes, Redknapp, Coyle, Neville etc getting the Piers Morgan curse. Poch maybe?

I'd almost entirely blame that goal on Joe tbh. One of the most daft pass-outs I've ever seen.
Don't forget once he passed it out to a player under pressure, he made little effort to get back in position in the centre of goal. Literally left an open net.

Sorry, but Fernando wasn't under pressure at all. He created the pressure by taking ages on the ball and then turning in the one specific direction where there was a PSG player, despite Hart literally pointing and shouting for him to go the opposite way, which would've been much easier to pull off technically anyway.

He was good in the 2nd leg though, I'll admit. Have to wonder under what circumstances we'll see a similar game from City's perspective during Pep's reign though.

This isn't true at all. He created the pressure through a bad first touch of the ball, but he wasn't on the ball for ages (like less than half a second?) and didn't turn any direction, he literally received the ball with a terrible first touch and then in an attempt to boot it clear and recover Zlatan got his foot on it. Zlatan was less than ten metres from him the entire time as well. It was terrible from Fernando as he genuinely looked like he wasn't expecting the ball (which is a horrible mistake really) but Hart created the situation from a goal kick that he should've just booted up the field.

Yeah, Ibra was basically stood on the edge of the area, as a keeper you can see that and should never put a player under that pressure. That kick out only works if a players got time to turn and pick a pass, which Fernando wouldn't have had anyway. Hart then stays outside the post (a sin IMO), pointing and shouting to play it quick to the right back, who again had a player 10 yards away.... Why didn't Hart play it there in the first place if thats the ball he wanted, the right back was just as close for the pass, and less dangerous because he's not standing slap bang in front of an open net.

Even still, the ball wouldn't have gone in if Hart had made any attempt to get himself in front of the posts after kicking it. He spent the entire 10 seconds from pass to goal stood still leaving the net empty. If anything that might have played down the urgency in an unsighted Fernando's mind - If he sees the keeper running back into position he might be a bit more on it.....It was very very poor from Hart all round

Man Utd. have to be the dullest team in existence. How many 1-0 and 2-0 wins is it now?

What's happened with Stones? I'm usually hesitant on rating young players so highly but he looked boss for a while. Was a shambles last night.
