debut in an IPL season as a batting all-rounder and 2 matches later take wickets of Kohli and AB in the same over - dream stuff

Why? Kohli has done the business in both games so far and ab has been great at number 3. Why push either of them lower to make way for watto?
Because Watson is better as an opener and uses the powerplay better than Kohli imo.Ofcourse Kohli paces his innings really well but he's a bit too cautious for my liking in the powerplay. He's better of batting at No.3.

And today's match basically affirms my sentiments regarding Watson.I think Gayle out is blessing in a disguise.Watson has to open the batting for me.And this Travis Head dude looks good too.Wouldnt mind if Gayle is dropped completely from the XI tbh.

Siddarth Kaul. Very productive T20 bowler. Yet to get a game for Delhi Daredevils.

That RCB still support Sarfaraz Khan is a good thing, but dropping Kedar Jadhav was a terrible move. That bloke's made for T20s! Rahul's one of the best openers in India, but not someone we'd want playing T20 when the Test top order is shaky.

Meanwhile, Pune have signed on Nathu Singh, but not given him a game yet. We hope he plays- he's got a very impressive strike rate in the shortest format.

Great striking from Jos. He has had a reasonable IPL so far, two good innings a few poor ones. Needs to really get going when batting first ideally and get a 60 or 70 to make his mark.

Can the love for Hardik Pandya take a break? He's a below average bowler - drops the ball short 4 times in an over and is surprised when a decent batsman pulls him for six. His batting is fine for a few hits but it's more of a cameo of 20/30. He's a great fielder sure, but I'm not sure if he should be walking into the Indian T20 team as he does now.

Also, Rohit Sharma has now flipped from being a first innings champ to a good chaser. And of course, now he will flop in the first innings.

Honestly no idea why Pandya loves the short ball so much. He's doing it on purpose and it's so infuriating.

Yeah, i was shocked it took him so long to be worked out for it in the World T20. He bowled every delivery short of a length against Australia iirc. Or at least midway through his 3rd over or something every delivery was in the short % of the pitch.
