He really wants to average more in the Sheild than Adam Milne does, too. That's a well-matched tussle in the coming years I think.

Bahnz being sort of vindicated on the idea that Neesham was the Nash to Corey's Cairns.

Usually players really dominate when they're dropped back into Plunket cricket, whereas Neesham's batting seems to be stuck in this groundhog day of "just give me a crack back at the highest level, mainly because I've got a fresher personality than an agribusinessman".

From what i here there is a chance that Fults misses the last game of the season due to the birth of a child, which could (if he is not convinced to come back next year) mean this is his last day of domestic cricket.

From a statistical perspective he is about 40 runs off getting 10,000 FC runs.
I'd be suprised if he did retire. He's always said in his interviews of late that he wants to keep playing for as long as he can.

Clearly not a man motivated by personal milestones (or perhaps anything, really), when you look at that shoddy running.

Haha, that Borthwick dismissal is awesome. You've gotta love the obvious confidence in the umpire's firm shake to Ferguson's appeal, followed by the far less assured shrug of his shoulders when he sees Borthwick tucking his bat under his arm and wandering off.

Bowes and his dubious red ball stats starting to make some sense. Not often you see a really awesome lofted straight drive followed by a front-foot cut shot as terrible as that.

Maybe the Shane Thomson to Corey's Cairns?

Well done Wellington holding out for the draw. Auckland tried 9 bowlers in the second innings.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
haha did Cantabs decide to go for the 280odd in 50ish overs and then reign it in after losing some quick wickets (including 2 run outs)?

The secret to a good spin bowling option in Plunket Shield conditions is starting to become clear. Left-arm orthodox, over the wicket.
