No Energetic, Bangladesh is a poor team.Don't worry – Bangladesh will beat Australia and New Zealand. Top 8 teams Bangladesh have beaten in the past 12 or so months:
England (1)
India (2)
Pakistan (5)
South Africa (2)
Sri Lanka (1)
Under-19 side winning series against South Africa (home and away) Sri Lanka (away) and West Indies (champions) plus achieving a 3rd place finish. I know test Cricket is a different story but still...those achievements are hard to ignore. Bangladesh are trying to improve their woeful performances at test level. They revamped their main first class system, and even have a franchise-based first class tournament that is currently going on.
Well he's not lying about being energetic. Beats me how he can find it in him to make these posts again and again.
Well have you heard Athar Ali on the commentary? He says pretty much the same thing with a lot of energy in his voiceWell he's not lying about being energetic. Beats me how he can find it in him to make these posts again and again.
I noticed how he explicitly listed all the teams Bangladesh have won matches against in the last year or two, which does not include Australia or New Zealand, and concluded from it that Bangladesh will beat Australia and New Zealand.Well he's not lying about being energetic. You'll be regretting that line next summer when he leads Pakistan to a clean sweep against us at home.probably comfortably better than any other limited overs bowler going around right now other than an injured Starc, and I expect he'll overtake him too.
Gee I wanna see him playing tests.
Yep. 2nd best Asian side at the moment though, given Pakistan don't have any batsman and Sri Lanka's brand of T20 cricket belongs more in a circus.I noticed how he explicitly listed all the teams Bangladesh have won matches against in the last year or two, which does not include Australia or New Zealand, and concluded from it that Bangladesh will beat Australia and New Zealand.

They're okay. T20 isn't their best format though either. Most of their successes are still in 50 over cricket.
On the other hand, Pakistani batsmen never have a clue against any semi-decent pace bowler on greentops. You'll be regretting that line next summer when he leads Pakistan to a clean sweep against us at home.
None of our batsmen are going to have a clue against him if Pakistan end up winning the toss. He is unplayable on green tops, I'd expect him to run through NZ for less than a 100.
Oh how I wish we had a bowler with a third of his ability...
You guys have Trent Boult and Southee. What more you want ?You'll be regretting that line next summer when he leads Pakistan to a clean sweep against us at home.

What are these mystical beings you speak of?On the other hand, Pakistani batsmen never have a clue against any semi-decent pace bowler on greentops.
the test batting line up is quite good albeit mostly in their comfort zone which is slow low UAE tracks but the core od Azhar, Younis,Misbah,Asad,Sarfraz is as good a middle order you can find these days ofcourse you never know the likes of Misbah and Younis can fall apart anytime at their age. What are these mystical beings you speak of?
actually they are quite mysticalWhat are these mystical beings you speak of?
The test side will fare a bit better. Not saying they will be great, but if what CM Punk proposes does happen ie NZ get rolled for 100, I can see the test line up struggle their way to around 230-250 which might be enough in that context. A very similar line up of YK, Misbah, Azhar, Shafiq won the test series in 2011 and they didn't even have Amir..but then again it was a considerably weaker NZ side.On the other hand, Pakistani batsmen never have a clue against any semi-decent pace bowler on greentops.
Understood. But do you really blame Sami for this loss? Would like to hear your thoughts on the spate of 20/3 scores in the first 6 overs in every game, plus almost 9 overs worth of dot balls yesterday.I hope now the dumb Pakistani selectors finally get it why Sami never made it. Despite all his quality he is a mental midget a little sign of pressure and he completely meltsdown. I remember all those test matches he played in mid 00's he would be bowling perfectly well suddenly a drop catch or batsman takes him on for couple of fours and you are staring at 0-80 at the end of day's play.
I am glad that Daemon has now reached the Smali level of negative pessimism. A couple of years back, he used to rate the Pak side quite a bit..or maybe it was his man crush on Cheema doing the talkingWhat are these mystical beings you speak of?
I knew 20-3 will be a norm when I saw Manzoor and Sharjeel will be the two out of top 3 Hafeez loss of form made it worse. Pakistan top 3 should be Hafeez, Shehzad,Babar. Shehzad is highly maligned but he is better then these jokers and the long run I believe he will develop in to a solid opener for all three formats so he needs to be backed no matter how despicable is his personality.Understood. He's just a filthy dart flinger. I should know because I'm a filthy dart flinger too. All overspin no flight.Harbhajan's action looks to have deteriorated. Can't be sure because of those dumb long sleeves.
