Was very tensed during the Chandimal and Jaya partnership. Good that bowling changes worked for Mash. Now Shakib needs to really kick on from here again.

well done to Bangladesh on a deserved victory..our batting just isn't there at present..Dilshan is a passenger and we need to make the tough decision and drop him. Thisara barely knows what end of the bat to pick up and our order is all wrong.. for me the order and team should be, chandimal, Dickwella , Siriwardena , Mathews , kapugedara , dilshan, jayasuriya , shanaka , kula ,senanayake, chameera.
I would have liked to see priyanjan in this squad also.. We haven't performed well and most of this has been our own doing in terms of stupid shot selection - I am not taking anything away from Bangladesh, they outplayed us in all three facets of the game and as I said, were the deserved winners today..hopefully we will show some character and come back strong next game..
p.s chandimal needs to stop trying to slog and use his timing as that's how he always gets out..

They've already dumped Kula a few times now and keep bringing him back because the alternatives are dire and he keeps improving his batting. He adds experience, balance and sometimes bowls decently at the death. The problem is that's lost his swing up front now and when he doesn't get it exactly right at the death he gets put everywhere because he's bowling skiddy straight stuff at 125km/hr. I've always been a bit of a fan but I think the World T20 will be his last tournament.
