Is Dhoni greatest OdI cricketer off all-time

I would pick a bowler as the greatest ODI player of all time. Seems like a rarer and hence more valuable quantity. Maybe one out of McGrath, Garner or Murali.

Would be either McGrath, Wasim or Murali.. Garner didn't play enough IMO

Just a function of how few ODIs were played at that time. He had a 10 year long career and was a part of 98/132 games that were played in that time period. But no issues with getting in Wasim in anybody's place

Williamson is miles behind as things stand. Not even in the same galaxy as AB and Kohli. Yeah Starc could well do it, but he will likely be 'managed' during a lot of bilateral ODI series which will hurt his bulk stats.

If Starc stays injury-free he could outdo AB and Kohli. Williamson won't be far behind either (just needs to convert 80s/90s into 120s. Needs some more not outs too. Anyway, I'd have Viv over all of them.

Yeah, two full-time spinners are not needed IMO. Too much chance of a spinner getting tonked. Would rather an old ball specialist like Waqar bowling after 25 overs or so.

I was about to post that I would play Jayasuriya ahead of Gilly in Furball's side, given that Dhoni is already in the side as keeper, as it would give me the 6th bowling option which I might need against another ATG side. Plus I love me sides which cover all varieties of bowling options possible.
