Haha so very CD in general, then.
I thought CD were nuts for allowing him to head down south to Canterbury. He hadn't made the most of his chances at that point but he was always going to turn it around, which is what he has done. But his game, and especially technique will not translate at the next level.that's a very different post to the ones you've made defending him in years gone by
It's T20, not test matches we're talking about here. I think he would offer more in the T20 squad than Nicholls. Please, George Worker isn't close to international class. He's a poor mans Colin Munro.
cheers for clarifying. i think he deserves a crack to prove us wrong and that he will have some innings of substance as a reserve, but yeah im skeptical of players who blossom in short form domestic cricket but not FC. tbf since his move into the middle order he's scoring regular FC runs this season.I thought CD were nuts for allowing him to head down south to Canterbury. As in one-Test wonder Scott Borthwick? No kidding. What a massive fall from grace to play an Ashes series then have to turn out for ****ing Wellington. What do you folks make of the Firebirds side just announced to play Otago? Fraser Colson making a come back. Scott Borthwick getting a go very first season in Wellington and so is Matt Bacon. Again barring Fraser, where are the locals? The local club cricketers not good enough?

Well the locals (or the local pitches) are permitting Lance Dry to bowl a match-defining ten overs for fourteen runs in a 50-over final, last time I checked in on them. Until they break the shackles and dominate Dry and Karaitiana, they haven't really got much of a case.where are the locals?
