Fantastic numbers, but please don't select him in your all-time world XI.Matt Henry has 41 wickets at 21.60 from 20 matches.
Yes Siriwardena looked a decent find in his first series for us against Pakistan, only thing is at his age, he don't have that much time... I think Chameera and Pradeep have also gained a lot from this tour and need to continue to gain experience.Vandersay looked ok too. Kapugedara and thirrimanne have shown that they need to do better. I also expected more from lakmal tbh..This series could easily have been 2-2 if today had been a bit better for SL. You've had some good finds on this tour, Siriwardana especially looks like he could be a player for the future.
Not sure, but know he has previously come out to Queens of the Stone Age's 'No one knows'.Anyone know what Kane walks out to? Some Andre Rieu no doubt.
Boult has been terrible. A total spud. It's depressing.I'm not sure how not being terrible keeps southee in the side when henry and boult have both been exceptional
In the one match he played since he bowled actually really well in the Adelaide Test?Boult has been terrible. A total spud. It's depressing.
What do Boult's hypothetical post-injury ODI performances have to do with Southee's actual post 7-fer numbers I posted above? They're utterly diabolical in anyone's language.Has Boult been exceptional post-injury though? He's been well and truly off in Tests (though started to get some rhythm back), and at this stage I think Boult's Test performances post-injury are more indicative of how he'd go in an ODI starting tomorrow than Boult's ODI performances in the World Cup.
Boult has just looked awful latelyIn the one match he played since he bowled actually really well in the Adelaide Test?
Milne and Bracewell? You're drunk.What do Boult's hypothetical post-injury ODI performances have to do with Southee's actual post 7-fer numbers I posted above? They're utterly diabolical in anyone's language.
NZ ODI pace bowlers I'd select in the final XI above Southee if a WC being played tomorrow;
Boult
Milne
Henry &
Bracewell (Yes, Bracewell)
I genuinely didn't realise he played that ODI. Didn't get the chance to follow it at all.Boult was okay yesterday, but his pace was still down and he was flattered a bit by his figures.
