I just regret not putting him in my fantasy team early on because I thought he was just on a hot streak. Half an hour watching him against Utd and it was like no wait he's an actual serious upcoming superstar.

He really reminds me of an in form Hazard. Has that lightning change of direction on the ball that I've ranted about before.

Speaking of fantasy teams, haven't checked mine in an age but think I've had Vardy since day one. Can't be bad.

It's getting to the stage where Chelsea losing is no longer a surprise; you actually kind of expect it. Fantastic stuff, really.

Edit: and as I say that they get one back. Boo.

Tbf the bookies still always expect them to come good.

This is worrying though. Leicester not managed the game well at all.

I remember listening to Adrian Durham (yeah yeah, I know) at the start of this season and he talked about how Leicester would finish rock bottom and mocking Saggers for predicting Chavs wouldn't make top four

I never batted an eyelid at both predictions and yet here we are. Champions League could be a right distraction for Chelsea in their dogfight.

How has Mourinho still got a job ffs.
It's funny looking back at his interviews where he claimed if he had performed as "badly" as Wenger he would have been given the sack.

Surely, he's got to go now. Or something has to change. Looks like he has totally lost the players.

Has enough credit in the bank imo. Won't turn it around this season but assuming they don't go down then maybe Roman figures he can build it again.

That being said, he's not exactly renowned as the most patient of owners so the true answer to your question is **** knows

Has Mourinho been found out?

On the (rather safe) assumption Chelsea aren't winning the league that's 2 league titles in 6 years. Given he's managed Real Madrid and Chelsea in those 6 years that's a pretty poor run.

That's the thing. The team is still really talented. Maybe it's not quite as good as people were saying this time a year ago but it's still easily top four on individual quality. Honestly they must just not give a **** about playing for him at the moment, I can't think of another feasible reason for such continued poor performances on a weekly basis.

Just imagine the reaction if Pellegrini was still in a job and Man City were 16th at this stage of the season, or Wenger and Arsenal. Or basically anyone at a big club.

Tells you how much stronger his reputation is than anyone else's.

I don't think anything much has changed since last time we were discussing this. They're as well hanging on and seeing what their options are at the end of the season.

Bit disappointed in Leicester, really need to be putting cannon-fodder like this a bit easier to keep up their title run.

With how bloody regularly Vardy is scoring, does anyone reckon a big club will make a play for him in January?

I imagine the allure of doing something really special with Leicester would keep him at least until the end of season, but with a few teams seemingly faltering in front of goal and lots of cash on offer, will he move to a big club next season?

It depends, I think, on the nature of the problem. If it really is a case of just a massive underachievement and loss of any grain of form and consistency then yeah, I would agree. If the problem is more fundamental, and runs much deeper in respect of his relationship with significant portions of the squad (and I suspect it may well do), then time might not necessarily solve things unless they are able to move on the players who he has the most trouble with.

Who would you replace him with? None of the top coaches are available at this stage of the season and I don't see any benefit to giving some random the job until May.

Honestly have no idea tbf. But at the moment, assuming their plight is directly linked to him, almost anyone who wouldn't be a farce appointment would arguably be an upgrade, if only in the short term.
