Yeah this might be it for McClaren.

Hope so, got him at 10/1 as next manager gone when everyone was saying Monk is out the door.

Meanwhile though that Leicester goal was weak, awful defending all round, and although Schmeichel refused to critisize De Gea at HT, the way he comes out for balls like that he leaves himself quite easy to beat. He goes down in a similar style to a cricket fielder, which is great for stopping balls going straight at him (how many keepers see it put through their legs by a composed striker, after all). However it means he can't stretch his right leg out to stop a shot - he can with his left, but its highly unlikely someone will try and beat him at the near post from there. Noticed before that it seems to be his preferred way of dealing with low balls, and TBH it does usually work rather well, especially with shots coming low through a crowded box. However he needs to be conscious that strikers will note he has a weakness on one-on-ones

McLaren saying it's not about the team picked or the tactics, well that is convenient isn't it?

Oh and interesting that the top flight record for consecutive goals is 12 games, don't remember that being mentioned on Sky, mind you football only started in 1992 didn't it?

Yeah it's tough for all these great managers like McLaren and Carver, having to mange players who apparently just don't give a **** and don't give these great tacticians the results they deserve.

Tyler mentioned it at least once during the match.

Did he, fair enough I stand corrected:) Was probably watching Pointless at the time, Suzi Perry gets hotter by the year, even if I can't be bothered hearing about all that ****ing car rubbish.

When does Rooney's contract run out? 2018? That's a nice £40m in wages if no one buys him out.

Just checked and it's actually June 2019 his current deal runs out. They'll probably get saved by some annoying MLS club though.
What are you and your fellow Tranmites twittering on about, I mean I know we (Exeter) also love to **** on about the origins of songs, and I'm still angry about United ****ing taking "Bright Side", not because we started singing it on the terraces, but we used it because we were awful, and the song fitted, United dullards used it when they were winning, total ****wits.

Yet Koumas doesn't rhyme with Party, your version not only was copied, but it makes no earthly ****ing sense, is it just because you are struggling to remain relevant nowadays? Good result at Boreham Wood today BTW.

We didn't start the song, but we were very happy that "tony Kellow Ello, ello" fitted really well into a popular song in the late 70ss that was used for almost every striker, rhyming or not. Mind you, considering who sang the song it was provisioned from, I think others are welcome to it now.

Party rhymes with Charlie (ish). Koumas doesn't need to rhyme with party. Idiot.

Clearly does make sense. Koumas loves to party.

Just had a look at the goals from their game yesterday. There are obviously problems in respect of tension and unity (or a lack thereof) within the squad but, in spite of all that, their defence is just absolutely wretched.

Whilst Newcastle have more or less been pretty dubious and not especially likeable for one reason or another throughout my entire life, at least various previous incarnations of their team have been either entertaining or funny. The current lot are just awful. Nothing to recommend them at all.

The perfect scenario would be for McClueless to be sacked (I wouldn't normally want to see anyone lose their job, but he's wealthy enough and someone else would be stupid enough to employ him anyway) and the even bigger tosser Rodgers to take over and they still get relegated.

Happy to win cash but I'll admit its kinda sad doing this type of bet when its your team playing.

Keepers rush out far too much these days. That's a really tough position to finish from for Ozil if Ruddy stays on his line. Similar with De Gea yesterday, although not to the same extent.

Comes from his ****e clearance too. You never quite had confidence in the guy with trackie bottoms tucked into bright pink socks.

Anyone think Ozil's assist record would be getting the Jamie Vardy treatment if he was English?

Anyway, nicely taken goal, WAG

Bit of a lose/lose situation tbf. If Ozil had smashed it in the top corner he would have been barracked for not trying to close him down.
