Wow 12 wickets on the first day. What a dire pitch this must be.
Looks pretty much as perfect as a Test match wicket could be tbh

A little in it for the bowlers, but mostly a good batting wicket, until you get a new ball under lights where things change dramatically

You missed the sarcasm.

Can we play ODIs with this ball? Love the visibility.

Why is Santner still bowling? Henry & Wagner must be so annoyed they missed out on bowling here.

I really haven't enjoyed Brendon's captaincy this series.

Anyway, day 1 of pink ball cricket (under lights) has been pretty good fun.

Mitchell Santner is the first spinner to bowl with the pink ball in Test cricket.

Before today most people didnt even know who he was.

Fantastic.

4-2-4-1 from Bracewell. Great stuff.

And this is getting ridiculous. Surely Boult and Southee can't both be buggered.

OK this is making me angry now. The ball is swinging and nipping and you're bowling a part time spinner on debut ahead of your best seamers. Most of tomorrow will be in the sun on a flat pitch where Southee and Boult will probably look pedestrian and there'll be plenty of need to get overs from the spinners.

Nathan Lyon beat him by a few hours actually
