Definitely allrounder as far as I'm concerned. I've always found it way too hard to rate keepers and captains who played before I started following cricket.not saying i plan on doing it right away coz these are tiring
but would a keeper, all-rounder or captain version of these tournaments be the most interesting

Amazing from Williamson. In recent years in Australia we've seen Kohli, Vaughan and Amla have excellent series where they never looked like getting out, I feel as though Williamson is surpassing them all this series.
IIRC Vaughan made big in Australia before Virat
Yeah you've done well to remember that correctly seeing as though Kohli was just last year. Not sure why you'd think I was naming the 3 bats in order of when we've seen them..
Why wouldn't you?
Because I was just posting on a Cricket forum not writing a ****ing masterpiece. The 3 bats I named (not listed) were the 3 RH bats who I think have dominated Australia at home this century.
Yeah but its weird to put Vaughan in the middle
Get over it you ****, ****head, ****
EDIT - you ****head, ****, ****
Virat,Amla,Vaughan imo
Well **** this **** im out.Good from KW though this is the best batting I've seen from a touring batsman in Australia since
Virat,Vaughan,Amla
Gob, I gave you a like because you were leaving more than anything.
Stop talking about Marshall and talk about GobMalcolm Marshall
Disagree. Wrist spun off breaks and finger flicks are gar more difficult styles to master. There had been at least 10 very good leg spinners, but only two off break bowlers who were wrist spinners (Prasanna and Murali), and three to use the finger flick (Iverson, Gleeson and Mendis). These are much more difficult arts than leg spin.Warne deserves to be the greatest bowler because of his mastery of cricket's most difficult art.
Murali dominated teams more than Warne on their own turfs. Case closed.Murali dominated at home ( in particular). Was good to average away.
At the risk of this devolving into warne vs Murali debate (where I'm just about in the middle), I don't see how in any way shape or form Murali dominated away from home, much less dominated more than warne.Murali dominated teams more than Warne on their own turfs. Case closed.
he is referring to each of their respective home turfs. i.e. Sri Lanka for Murali and Warne for AustraliaAt the risk of this devolving into warne vs Murali debate (where I'm just about in the middle), I don't see how in any way shape or form Murali dominated away from home, much less dominated more than warne.
By the same token Sangakkara's average has to be considered much better because he has been making runs on the spinning minefields of Sri Lanka?Seriously not comparing the spin tracks in Sri Lanka to the (Sydney aside) spin adverse pitches of Australia?
If you are accustomed to a specific type of pitches you should have a very good record on it even if they do not fully support your bowling style. For instance Lyon has a good record in Australia but he hasn’t been very good in other countries (even if they are more spin friendly). If the difference in performances was less then the pitches could account for it, but between Muralitharan and Warne there is a major difference in terms of performances at home.Seriously not comparing the spin tracks in Sri Lanka to the (Sydney aside) spin adverse pitches of Australia?
No, that's not the argument. So just to be clear. The actual argument is that the pitches in Sri Lanka are not more helpful to spinners than the ones in Australia?
