Yeah, bit of an exaggeration to say the attack is swing-or-bust, but Plan B clearly missing on this tour.
Personally I think McCullum, and the team to a lesser extent, bought into the hype that all out attack a la Steve Waugh era Aus is the only way to go, forgetting that the patience game was something that actually served them well in places like the Windies and the UAE.
I don't think it should be revised. If it is marginal then it should be umpire's call. That's what they're there for. Overall the 50/50s will even out over time. DRS is there for the howlers e.g. inside edge on to pad given out lbw etc.

All out attack doesn't really suit this attack either tbh, with line-and-length swing bowlers. They really should be looking to emulate Anderson/Broad who are much more fond of the squeeze, rather than trying to blast batsmen out with magic balls and hyper-attacking fields.

Provided you get more consistent and accurate decisions that's not really a concern for me at this level.
Look, I'd have no technology (for LBWs) and accept it as part of the game, rather than deal with the vagaries of a computer system (I understand that's not in keeping with the professional environment...but it seems like we debate said computer system as an alternative to competency of umpires.). And I'd also have one unsuccessful review.

In Boult's case, in particular, not bowling like a drain tends to help.
What you do is have a plan B i.e. bowl to a field, bowl in the correct channels, don't give the batsmen easy runs etc. They have not been doing this. Both Southee and Boult have been guilty of bowling all over the place. I haven't been watching (too painful) but have they put the pitch map up for Southee and Boult's bowling? I seriously doubt you'd find a good concentration of balls in any one given area.
You'd do the same if you were an international captain my man. Hence why I said make it one review, so they don't.
Is Boult off the field with injury? Shame to see him come to Australia, quite clearly still worrisome about his injury and not prepared to bend his back. 12 months too late, this series. Hopefully finds it later in the summer.
