If you stretch out the angle I'd have road to Wrestlemania 32 be Ambrose vs. the Authority which begins to build as a faction. Clearing house and getting those crazy odds thrown against him. Ambrose becomes a bit like a Sting/Stone Cold hybrid. WM isn't that important, just make it cool, a top heel for the Authority like KO.

Rollins is HHH obviously.

Year after build up to the shield triple threat.

Or you could do it next year and have the other storylines sooner, Ambrose wins the rumble and Rollins gets his match against Reigns by some stipulation against HHH.

Not sure it matters who wins. You've just created the new Stone Cold Rock and Shawn Michaels.

Good to see Alberto back. Always thought that WWE had well and truly dropped the ball with him -- he has the look, the charisma and the in-ring ability to be a star.
T'was turning him face that did it. Terrible idea.

I'd never seen Alberto before HIAC but he has a lot of haters. What am I missing/need to knoiw?

Just that he's a gun basically. Great worker, great talker, originally appeared as a Mexican aristocrat heel character. Got over big. WWE champion. Got turned face for some reason, the whole thing failed. He became a jobber, and then got fired for attacking some road agent or something after they made a racist remark.

Also on yesterday's RAW, it's amazing how a show where all the matches had importance got over so well. Having watched the product for about a year now it's clear that the strengths of the current roster are mainly their in ring ability and as such they need more time to show it and get over. No more lame, cheesy **** (Cena, Roman), no more angles where I feel like I'm about to cringe to death (Ziggler/Rusev etc), and no more retirees being brought back to get a slight bump in numbers. Keep it simple on the mic and let them go at it in the ring for the most part.

He basically was a dull version of Sheamus towards the end, blah blah armbar etc.

His initial Aristocrat gimmick was great fun especially with Ricardo, but they never properly explored it and never referenced it as much as they should. The face turn made sense as he was stale as **** as heel at the time, and initially was good stuff as he was actually over for a bit. They turned him heel and then he became the most boring wrestler ever. Dull squashes on Raw and delivered promos which consisted nothing more of talk about destiny.

He also in his last few years wrestled Sheamus about 764 times, Dolph 276 times and Kofi even more, and never once were any of those matches in an doubt.

He also has wrestled Cena to death as well, thus why a lot of people's initial reaction when he returned on Sunday " Not this again".

Del Rio has plenty of charisma and can work, he just needs to be booked as he was in the beginning of his smackdown run and he will be fine. Doubtful though with current WWE booking, although at least with both he and Sheamus heels we won't get them wrestling soon.

Oh and the infamous wheel of aggression.:D

Haha I did enjoy Alberto vs Dolph at Payback, though. Great match with a very well done double turn.
They worked well together and maybe I am been a bit to harsh on them, but from my memory we got way to many matches between them towards the end where depressingly Dolph was fed to ADR to make him look somewhat strong before he inevitably lost his next feud. Suppose you can't really blame either, neither were booking their matches and I am sure after a while both were merely going through the motions.

I will say though, no more matches with Sheamus or Kofi please ADR:laugh:

Anyone ever come across this YouTube channel?

Basically just consists of two guys playing video games and uploading (mainly wrestling games) and occasionally talking about wrestling. I usually cbf with series like this, but I have found myself following their WWE Universe series. It's not a bad watch, but their "best of" compilations crack me up - not just because of the glitches they uncover, but their reactions to them. Infectious really.

So WWE's third quarter performances were excellent again. Who needs ratings?
Well the thing is. Who else can USA go to? Some sport and the likes of GoT are killing it, everyone else is down.

They also aren't near the end of their current deal either.

I expect Q4 will go up even further. The next USA deal will be the big thing I reckon.

Watching my first Smackdown in forever and goddamn Rich Brennan sucks balls. He's worse than Byron Saxton (if that's even possible).

More like "where can WWE go?"

The current deal on USA Network and Syfy is barely a year old and it is a very ordinary deal. No evidence the next contract will be better. WWE thought it was going to get a massive contract in 2014 only to find out that no one wanted them and that wrestling audiences hold little value to advertisers. After talking big, they had to settle for the current contracts with the same networks.

It's still winning the ratings wars against any competition that isn't MNF. TV networks are in a fair more dire position than WWE. Which is a very very strange situation for a "TV show" to be in.

Live events/merch/the network all bring in enough for WWE to actually make transitions to other TV times or even potentially to go it alone. Theres nothing else quite like it.
