He wouldn't need a manager as a heel. He looks perfect for the arrogant, pretty boy, douchebag /jock.

In any case, I would guess he's losing at Survivor Series. Probably as a result of Ambrose screwing him over (the "You've waited so long for this moment Bro, go out and kick ass" segment last night seems like obvious foreshadowing for a betrayal). Should then lead to a Shield triple threat.

Ambrose would probably get cheered if he turns on Roman, they need to find a way to switch stances for a feud imo.

Yeah, or a double turn with Rollins.

I doubt they will though. I imagine Vince is still dogmatically determined to get this guy over as a face and is probably now thinking along the "if his best friend turns on him this will make people cheer him" line.

If they are going to go with a Shield triple threat through I don't personally care who the faces/heels are as it should be a great watch regardless. Will be funny if Ambrose and Rollins are positioned as the heels though, and Reigns as the face, because the live crowd will totally reject it.

Yes, especially with Cena taking time off I think Vince is thinking this is the perfect time to push Reigns as the top guy as they did on RAW. I wonder what their "Plan B" will be if this all blows up in their faces though.

Can't help but feel this is happening too early. Ambrose "turning" tweener on Reigns to win the Rumble would've set it up perfectly and also avoided a three-peat of the Rumble winner getting **** on.

Then again, I don't think Reigns being no. 1 contender is as big a misstep as you guys make it out to be. They've done an okay job rehabbing him since WM, and the crowd was solidly behind him last night. This will change come Rumble-WM season, but it's not such a bad idea right now.

He has ups and downs though. The crowd last night was pretty hot for him, but over the last few weeks he has got some horrible receptions. (i.e. when he told the crowd to shut up, or whatever it was he did, when they were giving him the boring chants).

I'm not opposed to him being the number one contender ftr, I just think it is too early for him to actually get the title. If the whole thing is handled well, and there are plans for other big draw matches at WM, there's no reason why they couldn't have one triple threat before the end of the year, and another at WM and it be a success. If they have nothing good planned for WM then they would do well to keep their powder dry.

Also, I really hope the plan isn't to do a Taker & Kane (+ obligatory fodder partners) vs the Wyatts in a Survivor Series Tag match. Only one team would be winning that match, and Bray Wyatt really can't afford anymore losses at this point in time.

That's what Bray Wyatt does though. He talks a lot, has the big scary dudes behind him. The Family look really strong through the feud and then Bray ultimately loses. Rinse and repeat. #WWECreative

Bray literally just kidnapped two of the biggest monsters in WWE history and has only lost 3 feuds and won the rest. The third feud at the same time as he has started this kidnapping angle.

Really hope they book Bray strong now. I think brining him back with the family has been great for all of them. They just work as a group, and can be suitably intimidating.

Me too, and I guess at the moment things look good. Then again, I've been hoping for him to be booked strong ever since his program with Cena started (which by some coincidence about the time he started losing every time it mattered) so I guess I will wait with baited breath.

Any ways, my thoughts on HIAC:

Was surprised to see Del Rio back. It's great to see his matches and I didn't expect him to be back. Heard a youtube video of him bashing WWE a few months ago and he was doing well I thought. Any ways, amazing to see him back. The match with Cena had an abruptly quick end but any ways. Yesterday, he had a match with Neville on Raw and even though they had different sizes, they worked a top match. It's always good to have quality wrestlers.

Rollins was terrific in the ring, as usual. Kane struggled. I am not sure having older guys wrestle like this is a good idea. It's injuries waiting to happen.

Ryback v Kevin Owens - was such a boring match. They were hitting each other rapidly and it looked like a stupid brawl out there. As some one said, they needed to have this match before and not on the PPV. Wish Cisaro had a match on the main card instead. Ryback is a pain to watch.

Undertaker v Brock was so full of blood. Reminded me of that street fight of Triple H and Shaun Michaels as I didn't think I will see such stuff on WWE. Was great to see the match they had. Both the wrestlers worked so well together. The match wasn't slow any where which is easy to happen in such matches. I can't believe Undertaker gave us such a match. He was really good in this. Seems to have improved so much on his fitness.

I feel bad for Ryback, clearly tries hard but is just so so so woeful. Would be happy to never see him ever again. Legitimately the only person on the entire roster I feel that way about.

Good to see Alberto back. Always thought that WWE had well and truly dropped the ball with him -- he has the look, the charisma and the in-ring ability to be a star.

Fantasy booking time:

I want to see Reigns go over Rollins at SS.

Keep Reigns doing his I'm a bad ass and I'm taking your title build up to SS, no interaction with the Authority whatsoever but just slightly overshadowing Seth at any opportunity. Have Rollins keep up his confidence after handling Kane by himself, make him seem like he is genuinely rising to meet one of his greatest challenges. Keep him a jerk but lower the obnoxious levels a wee bit. Let Seth actually for a few weeks, seem like the man.

Meanwhile Dean is talking up Reigns in backstage sections and having the occasional exhibition match with a midcard heel, maybe the Eurotrash guys, but basically he's just being a total and awesome

But week after week Reigns is bulldozing fools and dropping a line or two on Seth. Bolieve that. While we don't see any interaction directly we do see a more nervous Authority. "You're the man Seth, but are you sure you can do this?" "I can do this" etc. etc.

Come SS they throw everything at each other, the Authority sit in attendance watching the future of the WWE. Seth is still wrestling heel but he hits those high spots. It looks like he might have been right he might actually be that good. But he gets caught! Samoan drop! Reigns ****s the fist. Rollins rises to his feet and rolls out of the way...

BAM ref gets accidentally clocked by Reigns.

Oh baby I'm feeling...

Rollins takes advantage of the distraction, reverses a move, lays Reigns out. Goes to the top rope. Phoenix splash! Hits it. Pins Reigns 1...2...3...

4...
Rollins notices the ref is still down and starts to fuss over the downed man.

Meanwhile HHH rises and places a sledgehammer next to Reigns hand and nods. Reigns groggily gets to his feet taking the weapon and clocks Rollins in the head with it.

The ref stirs, Reigns gets the pin.

We have a new champ!

HHH shakes Reigns hand, Steph gives her best fake smile and a little hug. Reigns holds the title close.

And then Ambrose runs down, and he looks at Reigns all like

Reigns and Steph leave the ring and Ambrose looks like he just found out Santa isn't real. His world has been turned upside down.

HHH begins to beat down Rollins and Ambro is just shocked. After some hesitation he intervenes when thehammer comes out, shoving HHH back. HHH glowers and leaves the ring and they stare down with Ambrose in the ring and The Roman Empire at the top of the ramp.

Rollins has shifted to a sitting up position in the corner, Ambro walks over to him and reluctantly puts out a hand.

Rollins is Rollins. Slaps that **** away, rolls out of the ring and limps out on his own two feet.

Ambrose face.
Reigns heel.
Rollins tweener.

Road to Wrestlemania 32 or 33.

Either way.
