Oh man, that must have been one of the Rock's last ever full-time matches on RAW. How time flies etc...

WAG though, even if he didn't do the job for him, Rock still made Eddie look super good in that match. Discussions about who was the best guy at elevating other talent always (probably justifiably) tend to go back to Foley, but man Rock was so good and putting other people over, even when he beat them.

Nooooooooo! I saw the clip and was hoping it looked worse than it was. 6 months? This is horrible. It was just getting good.

This is also bad for Reigns as well IMO, if they give him the strap with a short build up to a new feud at Survivor series it'll still see a pretty hostile reception IMO.

Have The Authority interfere and assist Reigns in winning the belt. Reigns is going to get heat as Champ anyway, so why not turn him heel much like Corporate Rock when he won the belt. Then it allows for a Seth face-turn, a big rivalry and a WM match with Reigns, potentially as a Triple Threat with RR winner.....Dean Ambrose.

I think just having it happen with a 2 week build up is going to harm the payoff to that sort of story. Having it happen against Seth would have been a great double turn.

Against Ambrose maybe?

Or just give it to the New Day.

Optimistic to think he'll be ready for WM. Gutted for him.

They've booked themselves into a corner though, it'll have to be Reigns or Sheamus cashing in on a more popular winner.
