Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
I think he started making a general point but then when he started thinking about it, CSK fans were what he was imagining and so he accidentally got specific when he elaborated. Which means Jono is right and it's funny.

Ahh the conversations we have here at CW...
haha yep exactly. was funny, had to read it again

good stuff

Whatever it takes!!!
On the Sudhir Naik (Wankhede curator) row:

Looks like a heat of the moment argument is being blown out of proportion by that princess of a curator. Shastri is a **** and when his team is beaten badly, he is even more of a ****. Call him that to his face and walk off. Don't go around complaining to mommy. I have seen Sachin and Kapil berate curators in public before. IIRC there was this test in Mohali when Sachin was captain and we were bowled out for 80 odd by ****ing Dion Nash and Co. and then there was a public frying of the curator and by the time India batted again, there was literally no grass on the pitch.

Agree to disagree with this SA ODI squad assessment, while indeed Behardien has been useful - the lack of 5th bowler/proper all-rounder in Albie Morkel for example clearly was the difference between SA winning world cup and being knocked out in semi's. An in form India & NZ in world cup (the only teams they faced with batting line-ups capable of exposing the kink) got on top of them.

Facing a regressing IND ODI team it was easier to win without that 5th bowler.

Can understand not rating Behardien but he is coming good recently. Performed against NZ and now India. The fifth bowling option sharing between Duminy and Behardien is not the world's worst thing tbh. But you have a point there certainly.

Duminy a much better ODI cricketer than Morkel, especially in India and in terms of the South African lineup I'd say he's by far the best fit for that number 7 spot.
