Sky really should use Rob Key more. Love listening to him talking about cricket!
Well no because for them it's away from home in 'subcontinental conditions'. Urgh.Making 200+ even on a flat track is some effort in that heat. Apart from the no ball it was an innings so out of character for him as there were no chances.
If Cook or any other England player makes a ton does it not count as it on a flat pitch?
Watched only a couple of overs but he was all at sea vs Babar. Footwork was woeful. Also got a life from Masood.Cricinfo is saying Bell's looking novice. I can't see at the moment, is he completely at sea? Why is he scoring so slowly?
Babar is bowling extremely tightly and pretty well, everything fullish on the stumps.Cricinfo is saying Bell's looking novice. I can't see at the moment, is he completely at sea? Why is he scoring so slowly?
Yeah I kind of think it's okay for him to be scathing when a player can't handle English conditions (just as England players are rightly panned when they fail in the subcontinent or wherever) but it's just stupid to be so smug about it when someone does well in their own conditions. He seems to think all cricket should be about is proving you can play on a green deck under grey skies. I mean, that's the best cricket no doubt but it's a very small percentage of all cricket really.Boycott on TMS this morning was rancid. Basically doing his uisual trick of deriding any runs scored on a flat wicket, "let's see if [Malik] can score 200 in England with the ball swinging around."
He doesn't have to because they're not in England you muppet.
This is a test match happening RIGHT NOW and scoring 200s on a flat pitch is how you are going to win this actually happening test match right now. That's what counts
