Don't forget the bouncers angling in at the body!So it appears SA's top-secret, cunning plan is to bowl just outside off and move the ball away. Genius!

Someone should email it to the Australians. So it appears SA's top-secret, cunning plan is to bowl just outside off and move the ball away. Genius!
Unless it's stuff like opening with a spinner or intel on a bowler/batsmen no one has seen at international level, I doubt if too much is secretive ala rugby, football etc. Chances are if you're working on a deficiency in the nets, your opposition knows it exists. Every team has a video analyst.Teams should (and probably do) make fake plans and deliberately leak them anyway.
To me, Elgar is a bit of an enigma. He has plenty of variations to fall back on though.I've only ever seen Elgar in Trevor Franklin mode.
Such a weak performance from the playing XI does not help support the administration’s efforts to sell the Proteas "brand" as elite, exclusive and … expensive. This series is not being televised in New Zealand because Cricket SA refused to accept Sky NZ’s financial offer. CSA said it was not "market related" — and the Proteas are worth top dollar.
Never mind Sunday’s performance. New Zealanders are asking other questions about the Proteas. JP Duminy and Morne Morkel are on paternity leave, while Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir are just on leave. With the Black Caps also resting a quartet of their own best players, is this series really premium quality?
No doubt CSA and Sky NZ are both right. But can it really be in either nation’s interests to have a blackout? CSA is concerned about setting a precedent for fees that are lower than the "market" suggests is fair. But what about the precedent of bad blood and ill feeling it creates in the boardroom? What about the antipathy it creates among cricket-loving New Zealanders to South Africans?
This may hurt, but the truth often does. Many people have worked extremely hard building the Proteas brand, and they have done a decent job. But the Proteas are not world beaters. Not yet, anyway. It may have been more prudent doing a deal this time and sharing the game with the small but significant group of people on the other side of the world who would really, really like to watch it.
By leaving the country, or at least appearing like you have.So what's the best way for a Kiwi to watch the game tonight?
