So Rahul will get another shot at opening I guess. If Vijay's fit then I think Pujara's sitting out again. Rahul could get dropped for Pujara which might not be the worst thing to happen.

SL is pretty behind India in talent but we know how to identify roles for each player. Yeah pretty much agree with you here, they played Jadeja as a front line spinner in a 4-man attack (which he is not) and then they judged him as an all rounder. I kept going on and on about playing Ashwin and Jadeja during pretty much all of 2014 to restore the balance but no we prefer Rohit "talented" Sharma <_<

Its understandable I suppose, if you are going to be expensive you need to take wickets, and he doesn't really. Its a shame because their is definitely something to work with.

What would be Jadejas role then?Hes no frontline spinner,but you can't say that he took the chances that he had too bat top 6.

I think it's already been pretty much confirmed by Kohli that Rohit will stay in the side at 3, unless he just gets straight up over-ruled. That's why people were coming up with alternative ways of getting Pujara in the side. I agree with your changes but holding out too much hope for them will just get you upset.

It's weird to think this - but I was thinking Raina wouldn't be too bad in these conditions, would he? I mean if we picked him for just this one series and then regardless of the scores vowed not to pick him ever again - that wouldn't be a bad deal.
