I think some is forecast on the last day.is there a chance of rain the next few days?
No, it was just too wide. The balls are actually hitting the stumps in this test.was Australia bowling too short a thing from last game? I just thought they were too wild. Starc is bowling to Cook the same as he did last test for example, full, but swaying onto the pads a bit.
Didn't watch the last hour where Cook and Stokes consolidated, but before drinks yes we were pitching it up. Starc seemed a bit patchy, especially against Ballance.
Slightly worried about the Cook/Stokes partnership. Obviously 4 wickets in a session is good but it does feel a bit like the Lord's Test earlier this year (difference is that we're batting first so for England to win they need to chase down 500 probably...or us to enforce the follow-on).
Nah **** that they are 481 behind. Just bowl normally and hold on to the catches. If England were 3 down over night with Root and Cook in yeah i'd be slightly worried but Stokes would offer a chance any way.yes the last partnership has got me worried, Cook and Stokes compliment each other well, Stokes with counterattacking aggression and Cook with the pragmatic defense. We need to get them out quickly. With the depth of batting England have I'm not writing them out yet. Hopefully, overcast conditions and the pitch itself help us tomorrow.
Watching the higlights; man the ass-slap by Clarke to Nevill
Change the record, please. I've barely read this thread but I've seen you make the same point 5 or 6 times. I don't disagree with the old adage that you should see both teams bat on a pitch before judging it but I think we get the point.Yeah Stokes will probably make 400 not out on this pitch, which is so disgracefully flat that it's destroying test cricket and the whole reason Australia batted well on the first day it's not because they're good or that England aren't amazing, it's all the pitch.

**** postThey are right to be worried.
But how will people know I am right and they are wrong I want them to always know that I am better than them in every way always or else I can't sleepMust admit I found it hard to swallow when I opened up cricinfo the next morning to see a piece decrying the wicket from Dobell on Day 1. I guess with Lord's you can make an assumption that it won't deteriorate as much as other wickets.
That doesn't excuse you bringing it up over and over again, it's been very tiresome.

The epitome of an English supporter and journalist, dour with medically unsound levels of depression.Dobell is a spud.
